Hello, i'd like to try Overture on a laptop with i3/hd3000, game starts but everything's white/grainy and doesn't change. I can see cursor change to eyes or hand, i mean, i can move and all but still i'll only see white. Is there a fix?
Possibly try updating the drivers for the graphics card and see if that helps. But in the past there has been a lot of bugs in the Intel OpenGL implementation so it is possible it is a bug in the driver that is present even in current versions.
Thanks. EDIT: Mkay... It didn't change anything. Still all white. I already had drivers up to date. And the thread is for Amnesia, not the Penumbra series...
The update procedure is always the same. Well, I have an HD 3000 laptop graphics card as well with the latest drivers. I'm installing it now to see whether it will work and I think it should just fine.

EDIT: Well, you are right. It shows a white screen. The problem is Bloom as I found out. But even with that disabled there are other problems with the lights like black objects etc... So Jens is right, the Intel drivers where never fixed when it comes to all 3 Penumbra games(checked them all with Black Plague and Requiem being the worst).
I see... For Amnesia, i didn't fix anything, just installed last drivers and it worked. Surprising since i saw people using "Amnesia HD3000 fix" before... So there's no chance to play Penumbra decently on HD3000?
I don't think so...
Fact is before updating drivers, Penumbra didn't show a black screen, it was working, terribly but well... Really annoying, Amnesia runs wells even with SSAO and i can't run the old Penumbra!!
That's because back at 2007-2008 Intel drivers sucked way more than now. Especially the OpenGL part of them...
