so i have been trying for a few days now to unlock a door with a key found in another map i know how to unlock a door with a key found in that map, but what do i have to add to get a key from a dif map to open a level door in another map?
You shouldn't have to do anything else, really. Just add the unlocking script into the map with the locked door, and then place the key anywhere you like. When you play the game, items you obtain are automatically carried over when you switch maps.
