Just link me to a tutorial if there is one, please. If there isn't, well I could use some assistance. All I want to do is replace Daniel's jumping sounds.

So I read this and I got it working. I even transferred all of the files from my original folder in custom_stories. Now, I'm thinking ahead. How will I package it for download? I have the .bat and the test_mod. So how would I do it?

You download and install a program that can create archives. Then you should be able to right-click on the folder and "Add to archive." Then you drag the system dependent files into the archive as well.
Yes, I know that you need to archive the folder and everything, but don't I need to archive the .bat as well?

That's what system-dependent files include.
Okay, so it doesn't matter if the .bat is in test_mod or redist? I was wondering because in the tutorial it sounded like it was required for it to be in redist.

EDIT: By system-dependant files, do you also mean basically the entire redist folder? Or just the launcher for amnesia? Ugh, confused :'(
