Thank you for the elevator tutorial. I always looked at all the parts in the Level Editor like "Da fuq?" but now hopefully I can use it. :] BOOKMARKED.
Finished http://wiki.frictionalgames.com/hpl2/tut...vel_design tutorial.

I accidently put it under the Scripting catergory. Can someone help me move it over to the Level Editor?

I also want to change its name a bit, I don't know why it turned the first letter from Capital to non-capital. And it puts the _ where a space should be...

The new tutorial looks pretty friggen sweet.

Yes I know yours exists and its taught me a couple of things to.

But I want to show people common mistakes that I see in alot of CS.

I have it all ready, but the map that I've overhauled belongs to a CS that hasn't been released yet. So the Author does not want me to release it till hes done.

I could go with using another person's work, but I've spent already the effort on his map. And I really like the work he put into it before I changed it.

I'm a little stumped at what other tutorials I could do. Any suggestions? I'll even take a scripting one, as long as it's not on the high-level end of Apjm.

Sure thing, I've seen those in some recent custom stories.

I have a cave part in my cs that im currently working on(Dark Past)and i just made it without any cave tutorials. Not that hard put the walls usually flicker or overlap eachother.
I'm going to combine a few things into this Cave Enviroment tutorial...
  1. I'm going to add in a village, and then a short distance to a cave opening. You will descend into it for the tutorial. I'll even add in a little story.
  2. Scripting/simulating underwater. Someone by the name of "Kyle" I believe made a good demonstration of this awhile back. I managed to make a really crappy version a long time ago since I didn't know how to get the effect to work if you crouched, only while standing up. But it just hit me 2 minutes ago how to do it it...
  3. I'll try to see what good puzzles I can come up with.
I dunno where I'm taking this tutorial. But I like its direction atm...
