I've quite newly bought a new computer-screen wich is 1680x1050 and was wondering if Black Plauge will support it?
I'm playing Overture at maximum settings and it doesn't look very well. The grain-effect, for example, is stretched out and messed up.
In My Documents/Penumbra Overture/Episode1/ you can find a settings.cfg file, open it in a text editor and locate width="" and height="" and set them to 1680*1050.
This was just the question I was going to ask!
I've just registered my copy of the game for my Mac. It's downloading as i type : ) Anyhow, I was at the games highest resolution in the demo (which wasn't as high as 1680x1050 of course). So i wanted the full res.. got it! Thanks!!
Had some weird graphical problems though, so knocked it down to 1280x1024 (iirc) and that fixed it. I'll reply in the Mac tech thread if the full version does the same..

Ah, damn, you mean we can manually enter other resolutions too? And I played through at 1280x1024 when I had no idea I could've used 1600x1200. : /

Black Plauge has a lot of wide screen resolutions and Overture got a few aswell
Just not every possible, and this is because (for various reasons) we do not search to check what resolutions the gfx card support.
