Have anyone of you checked what a Penumbra is?
Penumbra is the area inbetween light and dark, a half-lit place. Ever seen anyone standing on a large lit soccer-area and he/she gets several half-dark shadows? I guess you'd call those penumbras.
So, in the note in this game it sais an entire world exists inbetween light and dark, in other words inside the penumbra.
So, from this I'm guessing there will be some sort of shadow-portal in the game and all these zombies and overgrown worms aren't caused by the gas - or possibly the gas comes from penumbra.
Anyhow, before now I've never really thought about the games name but now I'm really excited about it. I hope it turns out well.

Noted that strange twisted-plant on the "strange corridor" picture on the homepage? Noted how it's not in a pot? Looks like darkness leaking out of the floor to me. If anyone have played Shadow of the Colossus, think the shadow that comes out of the slain colossi.
Pehaps there will be some "crawling dark" in this game?
By the way, on Philip: in the first developers diary it sais he's a scientist. It might just be a geek-reference, but yet. In Overture he sais he's seen steam blister flesh from bone.. sounds like something average-Joe wouldn't experience.

That Mr. Light are indeed artifacts, and that those infected ones are carrying them.
How about someone make an acual speculation thread instead of those vid and pic threads? I don't really wanna create. Feels like I've been unactive too much to create a thread.
