Hey guys, i have a problem with penumbra . The textures in the first room ( boat) are dissapiering (just the wall) and if i open my inventar, or there is some other text on the screen they appear, but if the text disappears the textures also do! I dunno what to do ,can you help me plz?
(got the Ati X1600 pro) i tryed everything, even change the combatiblity!
Set the settings down and up in every kind! But there are still away, in the Penumbra tech demo they are invisible also, and in Overture they dont just disappiering in the first room, the textures of the gates and rails too!

Does some1 have an idea how to show fraps ingame? maybe then the textures will work , becouse they work when there is an text on the screen!

and is there a way to fix it in the tech demo? (normal Penumbra) , i would like to play the first penumbra as well ^^!

Afraid not

There's patch also for that, but almost every download mirror share the 'original' Penumbra that's been already pathced up...

i wouldnt say great but i think its very more funny to kill your enimies with the enviroment!
Like prisen them in in a cage and turn on the hot steam! ^^ like in overture , i love to do this !
I saw in the screenshots of the tech demo that there are some other monsters like in overture!
(i mean that thing, wich is crouching on the ground with the head in its hand! )
They should have added some more creatures to overture but, but i hope in black plaque there are more.

and one more thing , if you mean version 1.1 , i got it but these fu**** issues are still there!

When you say the issue is still there, are u talking about Overture or the Demo?
