You know how beef jerky is sometimes ineffective? You know how sometimes the dog only goes after the jerky if it hears it or sees it fall to the ground?
I think I've finally figured it out - and I feel a bit stupid for not realizing this earlier. I believe it's tied to the difficulty level.
On Hard, the beef jerky is quite ineffective. On Normal and Easy, it works better, the dog seems to be able to find it by smelling the jerky. Of course, I need to do some more testing before I can be 100% of this.
What do you guys think?
