Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

So I'm creating a custom story and saving my maps in custom_stories/mycustomstory/maps but when I check it in explorer, it isn't there. I have it set so that all hidden files show up, and the .map file i save in the level editor never show up wherever I save them. I run a quick search of my computer for the file and only the .hps shows up.

The strange thing is that when I run my custom story, it still works... and I'm not just using dev_user either.

Can anyone help me? I need to find the files so that I can upload it for testing. Much appreciated.

Try going to C:\Users\--YOUR-USER-NAME--\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent and search there. If there are there, you need to run all the editors as an administrator to be saved in the right directory.

Oh, there's the problem, administrator access >_<
