This is ridiculously noobish of me!... however, I did try and search this topic however couldn't seem to find anything.

I downloaded the HPL_EDITOR_SUITE folder as requested online however can't seem to find the editor. The only thing I can find that resembles and sort of program is the Hpllangtool.

I have a file called the Level Editor but I can't seem to open it... am I being an idiot or am I supposed to open it using the Hpllandtool?...

Once again, sorry about this... I'm a total amateur at all this creating stuff.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The one with the name Level Editor is the level editor. Do you have the game? You need the game to use it. You can't just extract it anywhere and run it.

Extract ALL items from the folder and into the "amnesia the dark descent".
Not in it's own folder.

unzip th file to that folder right under
C:\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist

How about you go back to the download page and read the installation instructions? That usually helps!
