I've searched for this thread already and all of them seemed to have died with no fix posted in them, but maybe someone can still help me with this. When I try to open ModelView.exe it crashes immediately, and I get the message "ModelView.exe has stopped responding."

I am on Windows 7, and have tried running as administrator. I tried to re-download it, but I'm still having the problem. I've included my modelview.log to see if anyone can help me fix the problem.

ERROR: Couldn't create program 'posteffect_bloom_blur_frag.glsl'

This seems to be your problem. If you go to core/shaders there should be a file with the name 'posteffect_bloom_blur_frag.glsl'. Is it there? If not then reinstall Amnesia and it should work fine!
It is there.
Does anyone else have suggestions? It's absolutely crucial i get this program to work so I can create .mat files for my custom entities.
You can make .mat files with the Material Editor. The ModelView can generate .mats as well, but you can tweak and create material files in the editor as well.
Why cant you not just use model editor, its the exact same so when you load a item and click the gears, you get to mess around with it or do animations so there, if it helped, reply
No need to bump threads from a year ago..

No, it does not work the same. ModelView is quite essential to people making custom models.

And yes, this thread is long dead, I'mma close this.
