If you are tired of having max 60 FPS in Penumbra Overture: Episode One go to

For Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Username]\My Documents\Penumbra Overture\Episode1\

For Windows Vista
C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\Penumbra Overture\Episode1\

And open file settings.cfg with a notepad (I use Notepad++). Now go and find string with
LimitFPS="true"
Change "true" into "false" and now you can have even 200 FPS in game on good hardware (for example nVidia GeForce 8800GTX).
I have 80-90 on my nVidia GeForce 7600GT-TD512.

I changed LimitFPS="true" to LimitFPS="false", but it didn't work.
I still can't get more than 60FPS.

Only works if Vsync is off.

You probably have vsync set to true as well.

Ummmm, 60 fps is perfect.... as in... it's complete and total butter.

If you go above that, then Vsync probably won't work (lol), WHY in the world would you play this game w/tears all over the place???

Some monitors have a higher refresh rate than 60 Hz. Although I think VSync would adapt...hmm
