Frictional Games Forum (read-only) - game start fine but on start playing problems happen

my screen is just dark , I can see the subtitles , I can hear Daniel , and open the book with the (M) key and See it. So , uhm , how can I fix this. Really looking forward to play

WTF he can play the game. What? The game runs with this graphics card? It should just show a blackbox error. Whatever, attach me your hpl.log file after the problem occurs as said in the sticky guides.

@plutomaniac yes it runs but the intro is just a black screen with the text no background effect such as the torch and other and when I start the game i see only the subtitles and after pressing M button i see that the book appears clearly and that's what i have said in the first post

and the log is also in the first post

From where did you get the game?
