I like the screenshots! But the image quality is junk Sad

Download FRAPs and take screenshots in TGA format, then use GIMP or Photoshop to convert them, you'll get some nice clean looking screenies Smile

If the mod becomes popular, and played by thousands of people with "lets plays" on youtube, the company might want you to pay because you don't have the rights to use their music.

Dang. That's a good point.
The amount of disapproval on copyrighted music breaks my heart. Creativity is in a chokehold around here anymore.... I can understand ripped models but music too??
I'm with Statyk here. As long as you don't try to make it one of the main features, use it sparingly (preferably just use cuts) and don't force it down the players ear (as in, too loud, too obvious), then just go ahead. If the owners don't like it, they can track you down and C&D your ass - in that case, so be it. But music is important, and to expect high quality music along with all the other aspects of making a mod is ludicrous.

I'd be interested to know why you make a distinction between music and models however, as I see it making good music takes just as much effort and love as models, if you feel justified in re-using existing music, what is it about models that means you don't feel justified?
