Thanks Frictional for a great experience and great peace of art.

Today is the today when I've finished Penumbra: Overture for the first time. And I couldn't even imagine that the story would touch me as much as it did. The story and the ending of Redwood is something absolutely unique. It's simply a tragedy element - and I can't remind any other moment from any other game that I could call truly tragic with no doubt. There's a lot of companions deaths in hundreds other games - but that's not a tragedy. Simply because it was the first time ever in my whole life when I had no choice but to kill my only friend with my own hands. Those "burning" screams are still shouting in my ears. Words from his little diary are something that I'll remember for a long time. 14 years?!? Christ, how long he survived there alone in the darkness? And this interior which allows me to imagine his life day by day, month by month, year by year... oh god, and that's me who pushed the button. Oh man, I didn't ever felt myself that way...

Thanks Frictional for doing what you are doing. And good luck with keep on doing.

"Red". You know, the guy who talks to you after you activate the generator. In Penumbra Overture.
Was his name actually 'Redwood'? I thought it was just Red

Edit: Ok I just looked it up, it is. I didn't realize that you actually find his real name
