This is the only Graphic Issue happend for me. My card is a 'ATI Radeon X1950 Pro (512 MB) PCIe'.

I got the same thing except it was on all of them from memory
my card is a gforce 7800gt drivers I'm using I'm not sure but i might up date them to see any changes to it

Yes, the exact same shape appeared on my PC too, and at the same location, in all of the challenges (not in the hive monologues), although it shifted up and down when I looked up or down. Looks like the tower you can see in the background of this scene (on the right).
