So I bought Amnesia recently for $19.99, and after the fact I learned of these numerous problems that occur. I have re installed the game and it still crashes it. It crashes about 10 minutes into the game, and I takes forever to exit out. This is an outrage because I paid good money for this, and I cannot play it. I am surprised their hasn't been any crash fixes for this by any one. My drivers are up to date

AMD Radeon HD 6870 cross fire
AMD FX 4100
Biostar TA990FX
This is a recent issue caused by AMD's drivers, not the game's fault. Downgrade your drivers until it goes away. Also, crossfire configurations aren't always stable.

Yes, I am aware of the crossfire issue. I have had them before. Anyway I will try to downgrade my drivers, but that may cause problems with other games? Have you heard of any news of a fix for it?

It shouldn't really cause problems with other games unless you downgrade too far. Keep downgrading until Amnesia no longer has problems.

I don't know about Crossfire, but it could also be a problem. Try turning it off.

(I don't know much about this kind of stuff, just throwing this out there.)
Uhm, this is in the penumbra section.

Moved.
If you have Driver Version 12.8, that may be the cause. I've heard they cause a lot of problems. I think downgrading to 12.6 or 12.4 would probably fix it.
