It cannot be empty if the game ran fine a month ago according to your post.

In my situation, the hpl.log would be located in (C:\Users\Robert\Documents\Amnesia\Main). In your case, it should be the same, except the username is different (Instead of Robert, it would be your username).

Just 'attach" it. We need to see the log itself.

Also, while you're at it, post your PC's specs.

Strange, the log should contain some data, at least. If contains just the "memory report", which I find strange.

It should run, though. Tried updating your drivers? Tried reinstalling Amnesia?

If that doesn't work, I won't be able to help further (limited knowledge).
Yeah i checked my drivers theyre all up to date. alright well thanks for trying haha. do you think uninstalling it and deleting everything it leaves behind and re installing would help?

At least try that, and I don't mean like "reformat" your PC.
yeah ill have to start the game over but thats better than not being able to play it. ill update when i try that. maybe we will get more info about the issue.

If you saved your game before, the save data would still remain there. Delete that entire folder too (the "Main" folder from which you grabbed the hpl.log). It may not help, since that kills your save data, but what if that could be a problem too?)
