It's not his fault. Nowhere in the forum rules does it say that you can't advertise your YouTube videos. I still don't understand why the advertising thread is only stickied in the mods section. If you want people to see it, make it a global sticky, or at least put it in the forum people are most likely to post videos.
Only a couple of moderators take it upon themselves to close and redirect topics like these. I'm not a moderator who cares if they (shamelessly) advertise their Youtube channel that contains Amnesia gameplay, so long as they make only one topic and post it in the proper place. General Discussion is not the proper place!
I love how this has been left shy of 2 days whereas when I posted a youtube video which was strictly relevant to the custom story I was advertising to people was deleted for "Self advertising", lately the forum admins have been unreasonable in some cases.

Admins didn't create any explicit rule concerning these topics. The only two moderators that i know of that close down and redirect topics like this, one currently doesn't have internet at their home and the other isn't as active.
