The first person got it from Desura.

The second person... I don't know that.
the only HPL document i see, is a note write : ERROR: Unable to open config file 'config/default_main_settings.cfg'! Invalid filepointer returned!

What type of graphics card do you have?
ATI cataclysm or something like that
