Hi! I'm new to the HPL2 editor. I've already learned functions and how to use the editor. But there is one particular issue. When I'm going to save a file, I can do it with no problem and I can load it with no problem too. I decided to rename my firstlevel.map to toplevel.map. Now when I am in the level editor and attempt to load the map, I see in the browser the old map firstlevel.map and the new one toplevel.map. I checked in the explorer and there is only the toplevel.map. Is there any way to update the browser? Because I have repeated files and is such a pain to open tehm one by one to see which is the right one! Thanks!
I'm confused to what the problem is. Could you be more specific or provide screenshots?

hit Prt Sc on your keyboard, open MSPaint and paste it in there. Save the image as a .jpg and upload to imgur.com. right click the image and copy the image url. In here, press the image button and paste the link.
It's not a browser issue, it's a Windows issue. You have the game installed in Program Files, and you don't necessarily have all the privileges required to modify content therein. Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore and delete your old map.

I was curious and looked for this "Virtual Store", but only found it for irrelevant games, not including Amnesia. What causes Amnesia to create a file in there?

Amnesia isn't the program that does that. This is Microsoft's way of protecting the Windows operating system from the user. I see it as a stupid thing for Microsoft to implement. They started this with Windows Vista. Instead of simply

Well that's an interesting tidbit. I'll keep that in mind next time =] Mine holds silly things in it such as SCP and Slender.
