Ideas, tips, comments, feedback, etc. are always welcome! Thank you! Smile
I don't see pointlights or spotlights, and you should disable the global and ambient light so we saw how the level really was.
But, the design seems cool for me Wink

This is it without the global/ambient lights. This map forces the player to use oil wisely. What do you think?

I used torches. Is a pointlight necessary?

Even though I hate them.. yes, it makes it look much better, turn the A on the colour to 0 and connect them etc, there is a handy guide in articles about connecting light sources with lamps.
I know how to do that. I just found really painful connecting light by light. But now that you mention it, I will do it.

Ok here are some fancy shadows created by the spot light connection. PS: It looks brighter ingame!

You started to think of creative ways to interact with the player? Something beyond "Holy moses, the lights are blinking!" =P

Lol what? XD
You heard me, creative ways to interact with the player.
Doors banging shut, lights going off; scripted events which resonate with the player based on input-output.

Oh ok, I'll have that in mind, and sorry, the translator failed to translate your suggestions. I speak Spanish :/

LOL

I'm spanish too but I try to understand what people says. The google translator is for translating words, but it will almost always fail at translating phrases, because the translator doesn't have a good grammar translator.

Remain to use sounds and particles so there's atmosphere.
