This would work better as a really bad horror flick than a videogame.

After a while I actually laughed at the flappy jaw of the grunt in ATDD. I also didn't find the Brute that scary but when they are chasing me that laughter turns into a scream of fear. I'm sure that when you have that weird enemy from outlast chasing you, you'll sh*t bricks (or atleast I do). It's the same with slender, he looks so dumb and then he is suddenly behind your back.
I like the production values of this...nice crisp texture and awesome lighting system....but it feels a bit like your run-off-the-mill horror flick...
so yeah, will probably sell like crazy to the slender kids.

Hmmm...game might surprise, and actually turn out to be awesome. We'll wait, and see Wink

Yes, it's also having great graphics for an indie game, but this "Asylum" setting really deter me to put it on my wishlist...
I thought that a few people of Red Barrels worked on games like Splinter Cell Conviction and Assasins Creed. I'm not really worried that this game will dissapoint many fans. The AI will be made by someone that worked for Naughty Dog (Uncharted Drake's Fortune). I have high hopes for this team if they worked on all these classics.

As plectrum61 said, some industry vets are working on this. They definately know how to work the tech.

But yeah...might be surprisingly well done and they just keep behind bay with the good stuff till release. I never thought I could get scared by an SCP game and then tadaaa...
Will there be a demo? Anything known?

Quite true. I hate it when people say that Dead Space was scarier than Amnesia. Really? I bet the people who say that have only played the first few levels of the game, before it really gets scary.

Well, there is a demo of Outlast but that was only for the E3. With it's release being so close, I don't expect that they will release another demo for us to try out.

I hate it when people say they weren't scared at all while playing Amnesia. Or even worse: "Amnesia is boring huehue".
