I'm gonna go down to the local store, by tons of candy, come home, turn off all the lights, light a few candles, snack on the candy while I browse the forums, then cry myself to sleep...

Spoiler below!

Nothing special. We don't celebrate Halloween here

That actually doesn't sound too bad. =P And I was going to walk around the neighborhood in my costume, but Sandy postponed Halloween for Monday. More time for me to develop it, so, woot!
What's a good scary movie to watch :3
Why do you guys keep posting image links THAT DON'T WORK?

Also, Andy, I recommend:
1) Halloween series, of course. It's classic for this time of year
2) The Thing (older version)
3) Quarantine
4) Silent Hill
5) Paranormal Activity
6) Nightmare Before Christmas (ALSO CLASSIC, though not "scary")
7) Doom (because WHY NOT?)
8) 28 Days of Night
9) Dawn of the Dead
10) SHAUN of the Dead

ROBOSPROG, THAT'S NOT HALLOWEEN. THIS IS HALLOWEEN:

Spoiler below!

Had to upload to imgur.com to work.

This girl. Right here. This is how Halloween SHOULD be. If there was a party, and all girls dressed like you provided, I'd either look for the one that looks like what I listed, or leave. HALLOWEEN IS FOR SCARY, NOT SLUTS.

I hope you mean the spanish version of Quarantine, because the american version is far from scary. Other than that the list is quite good.
I'd also recommend The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Insidious, 28 Days Later and a few classics: The Shining and Interview With a Vampire
I would see Insidious more "thriller" than scary. At all. Insidious was interesting, but the designand production was a bit bland. The main "bad guy" was probably the most disappointing thing in the whole movie.

And I've never seen the Spanish Quarantine. I assume by what you're saying it's better?

I saw Insidious at the cinema so that made it a lot scarrier I guess, but I think it's a good scarry movie. I like the style of the movie, not so many flashy computer effects. In my opinion, a good design. Yeah, the bad guy was a tad disappointing though.

The spanish Quarantine is much better. It's called REC.
If you get a chance to I'd check out Sinister before it goes out of theaters. It's by the same people who made Paranormal Activity and Insidious, and it's pretty damn scary, easily one of the scariest movies I've seen in recent memory.
I put some Amnesia sounds on my iPhone and I'm going to go around playing them. :d
