Ok, so i discovered Acies painting kit.

I replaced the gray area in the .psd with a my picture gimp.
Then i exported it as .psd in custom_stories/[My Customstory]/static_objects/paintings/custom_painting01/
(Replacing the customPainting_Base.psd)

I can open the file in the editor, but the gray area that i replaced is still gray Sad

I tried opening the .psd file in gimp, directly from it's path (mentioned above), and the gray area IS replaced with the right picture. it just doesn't show up in either the game or the editor.

What did i do wrong here?

Gimp

Something tells me that the material is wrong. Re-check the material of the model, so it chooses the image-you can send me too the image so I fix it somehow.

Off-Topic: Nice pic!
I'm not used to materials, models and stuff.. Wink What is it you want me to send?
All the files?
I'll attach the folder to the first post

Off-topic: Google is a nice place...

EDIT: I'll do it with mediafire instead

Got anything?
The .dds file is the file you are supposed to use Smile

The .psd file is a photoshop file - with the replaceable area as a separate layer (to make it easier to replace).

So open the .dds file with gimp (dds plugin for gimp http://registry.gimp.org/node/70), then replace the gray area with your image.

Good luck :]

The .mat file had the original texture set, while the custom texture didn't had any kind of relation with it.
How do i install these plugins... i figured it might be them, but i couldn't get how to install them. Where should i extract them?

It says i can manually copy the plugin to the GIMP plugin directory. Do you know which files are the plugin?

Go where you had the painting, and replace my files with yours.

In the Gimp folder, search for a folder named "Plug-Ins". Install the add-on there Wink
What do you mean, install the addon? Should i just paste all the files between all the default .exe files?
EDIT: I searched for plug-ins, found a folder, and put all the files in there, except: COPYING, INSTALL, LICENSE, README, but it still doesn't work
