I am at the part where I have to run from the room with the infected banging on the door and I get the stuff out of the containment spot now I then have to run through the door that opens and escape but I keep dying when everything explodes could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If you can't crouch under it, jump over it.
If you can't jump over it, grab the offending piece of rubble and fling it.
If you see a valve, turn it.
And for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, don't run back into the area when you get to the door.
I have made it through the hallway with all the junk and I have turned the wheel thing but even so everything for want of a better word blows up. I can not seem to make it through the door in the hallways it won't open even when I turn it to green.
Please will someone help I want to pass Penumbra someday and I must have tried at least twelve times but the hold facility explodes and kills me.
A~aw, I made that mistake at least ten times. You don't have to run to the door with the green light. As soon, as you get out of the tunnel, you see the artefact, where you could save the game, right?
You have to turn left there, then you are right in front of the door who brings you back to the corridor.

I'm not sure that everyone has encountered this but...
when I got out of that Chemical Labratory and suppose to turn left to get out- I hear that other safety door opening, closing and opening again.
