I'm a newbie when it comes to this crap. But I've downloaded custom stories for this game, great right? But everytime I try to put the custom stories into the custom stories folder for the game, none of them show up in the main menu for custom stories. Any advice or help?
P.S. Please note, I did not use steam to download the game

No. some people creating double profiles.
And without noticing it, it wont show on custom stories.
Are you sure you put into the right file? it's basically on
\redist\custom_stories
As you said you were using a non steam version.
Or you downloaded broken custom stories.
If this still not helping you, should give us the hpl.log.

I made sure I put it in \redist\custom_stories. I can try to download a different custom story and see how that works for me. Thanks for the help

I've heard that you can do it one of two ways. Put it in the Amnesia Main folder, or the redist custom stories. I've tried both. I've tried extracting the zip files, and trying them in both places and they still dont show up in the menu for custom stories.
What CS's are we talking about? Normal custom stories to the custom_stories folder, Full conversions are installed as readme says.
