HELP!! What happen to my amnesia??? When i open my amnesia, its always just gonna pop-out black screen, and my pointer of mouse?? When i play the game from troubleshoot, it appear grey screen said: Could not load main init file: config/main_init.cfg??? Somebody please help... I just wanna play amnesia... help... Sad

Go to C:/Users/YOURUSERNAME/My Documents/Amnesia and post your hpl.log

May I ask where you got it from as well?

Read this and like Statyk said, post HPL.log from: Documents/Amnesia/Main and attach the file.

May I ask where you got it from as well?

ow, ummm, i get it on amnesiagame.com, i buy it one months ago Sad can u help me??
But, i can still play it through any full conversion mod, that's really weird?? :/

Here it is, the hpl.log Undecided What happen to my amnesia??? But. you know what?? I can still play through the full conversion mod like gary, killing in altstadt, etc Undecided

Hmmm. For some reason the HPL.log file didn't actually report anything about your render. Could you please relaunch Amnesia then go to what makes it crash, then re-attach HPL.log file. Sorry about that

I dont understand on what inside the link that have you given, should i update the directX??? but i can play Walking dead without any problem?? i can play call of cthulhu??? the only game i can't play is amnesia?? Thats weird?? Then why still i can play through Full conversion mod???

so?? you know what happened to my amnesia?? i've already reinstall and uninstall amnesia and the crash keep happening, and its driving me crazy!!!

oh ya you need to know one thing; before al of this happen, i still can play amnesia nicely, i have a plenty of CS, full conversion, etc. this problem happen when i install a full conversion mod named A rose in the Dark. when i install it, i accidentally remove a file that i dont remember what it is Sad then when i try to open the amnesia, it say error and sth like that. when i reinstall it from the backup file, the problem begin...

hey, after i update the graphic card from ati radeon hd 5600 series to ati radeon 5670 hd series, the problem changed. when i launch the amnesia, its start to pop-out black screen for a while, then im back to the desktop, but there is a blackbox thing that i dont understand???

hey you know what?? my amnesia is now working properly again, back to normal!! Because all of you guys, im back playing amnesia!!! thats because of god too Tongue !! Btw, thanks for be there when i need a help thousand thanks for you guys

1) Update your AMD drivers
2) Reinstall the game
