Full Version: Amnesia and Virtual Surround Sound?

How many speakers? because a version of OpenAL supports multiple speakers. (Multiple Speakers, not Virtual Surround Sound.)

It's two speakers. I don't know exactly how it works, but it uses some type of algorithms or something, to create surround sound with only two speakers.

Sorry dude, but OpenAL is not compatible with Virtual surround sound.

Yeah, I had seen that. That's why I made this thread. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a work around. I guess not.
I just got my headphones, and the surround sound is working just fine on amnesia.
that's good, did you use the soft-oal library?

No, what is that?

EDIT: Okay, now I know what it is. My headphones were already detected by amnesia, so does that mean I don't need the .dll?
