Which version of the game do you have? Retail or Steam?

I installed it for the retail edition of Amnesia.

And it only happens with the Windows cursor option?

I had only selected the Windows cursor option, clicked launch and received the error. I have yet to try out the other options.

I have Amnesia on Steam. Everything else works (for me) except the cursor option.

Retail. Win XP.

Could you please download the latest version, run it with -log, and tell me what it outputs?

That issue that the editor does not start centered also happens with Amnesia, at least when I use it in windowed mode and it is really annoying when making small changes and testing them. Maybe you can also make a Amnesia.exe version

In the same way you shouldn't expect most people here to know how to do that, i didn't expect your program to generate a useful log when the error occurs.

And it turns out all it outputs is: Launching...
