PLZ help me! I Bought from steam, played, got virus on computer, wiped it, reinstalled, got black box trying to play again, now it says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert disk into drive D:.", now it says "A crash has occurred, Please wait while gathering system information... 85%" and stays there!"
The Black Box says, "Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKNOWN> at 0023:00000000
PLZ Help!!

I had Catalyst control center (won't download form website now) and a 64 bit Windows 8 Dell Xps.

I did the check thingy on steam, uninstalled reinstalled, etc., etc. Angry
First of, Amnesia does not have viruses. I think you know that but I though in any case...

Now, you have no graphics card drivers installed. Check question 2 here: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-11183.html

I meant something OTHER than Amnesia put a virus in my computer. I'll take a look at the link though.
yes, yes I know you understood that. Basically update your drivers and you should be just fine. If you have Intel HD use the have disk method.

My drivers are fine. I can play other games as well.
Why would there be a virus? Unless the virus came from a crack and you didn't actually bought it on Steam, But you did.

Sometimes, Intel does a mistake that makes that as if, the game doesn't have any disk. Here it is.

You also didn't have any Graphics Card Driver installed. Or it's corrupted. Here it is

Question 5.
You have corrupted opengl drivers, not directx ones what most games use. That's why, install the latest drivers using the have disk method as mentioned here: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thr...l#pid89162
