Unusual request, only slightly OT.......

So, I'm working on an FC that has an interactive computer in it. (You might have seen the first teaser.)

I would like to have a cool, interesting and above all copyright free desktop background on the in-game computer.

It would need to be dark in colour (and preferably dark in theme too) and you would need to have either made the image yourself or know for definite that it's copyright free / creative commons / free for non-commercial use.

If your background meets these criteria and you would like to see it in Black Aether, reply here and I'll choose one of the first 3 replies.

As you can probably tell, I'm a LOTR fan.

Nice - and it's Christopher Tolkien's original version, grunged up, rather than one of the movie franchise redrawn versions.

The War of the Worlds has always been one of my favourite books of all time.

I like abstract patterns. I think they're calm to look at and don't distract from any desktop icons. This way there's no single awesome spot that I MUST keep visible at all times. Hehe, well, maybe it's just OCD.
