Just finished "Year Walk," an indie ios horror game based on Swedish mythology. Yes, Swedish.
Wow. If anybody's looking for a filler while we patiently wait for aamfp, I highly suggest this one. Yes, it's only an hour longish, $4, and ios exlusive at the moment, but it's definitely one of those quality-over-quantity games.
It's probably the most surreal gaming experience I've seen or even heard of. The puzzles are really good and rewarding, the entire interface for playing the game is really unique, and it tells a very chilling story. The sound and music are really incredible and beautiful. It's based on mythology that I don't think has ever been utilized before. There's a lot of parallels to amnesia, being an atmospheric horror game with a good story and amazing sound design, albeit a completely different delivery. Y'all should give it a try.
