You might be missing the part where they wouldn't have looked like rocks back in the day, "they were looking at what might have seemed like beautiful, glimmering balls of gold", combined with the history of the city itself, it's a pretty cool discovery. Not expecting the Shadow to turn up any time soon, however

I have no problem with any administrators or moderators here, but the user base seems to treat them as if they can do no wrong whatsoever.
