It won't make any difference if you learn something new about the game. It's better to know less. When it is out you will see these anyway. Three months? Most games release an early teaser and then wait a year for some other news. Are you serious? Also, do you think that all they need is 5 minutes to prepare the game's release date? They are not 50 but 5 people. You have no idea how many people must be coordinated before any such information can be even remotely accurate. And that lame excuse that you are giving money, it's just idiotic. You will buy it either way.

About the other reviewed games, do you think that these guys spend 24/7 on the game? They have work hours and a life. What they do at their spare time, what games they play and review is up to them and it is more than great. Thomas has been doing these reviews long before all these pig complains began. And guess what, Amnesia delivered. So will the pigs. He is not even the developer this time, if he has the time for other games that's just fine. So forget about it for a minute and go out. This thread is mostly complaints these days. I haven't seen a constructive discussion about the game for a long time.

That's because there's nothing new to discuss.

And there doesn't have to be. That's the point. As Statyk said: "Go do hobby stuff".
...And that's why I've been playing Slender and Dear Esther, and replaying the Penumbra series, instead of coming to this thread to discuss about nothing Tongue
I´m playing AC3 now... and I still have some dreams about AAMFP, and I look this forum everyday (only a couple of times)... so I think I´m not so obsessed right now... Still, looking forward to this.
The game was said to have been largely completed 3 months ago and more info was promised after that which has yet to surface. It's not unreasonable to expect an update of some kind, especially as we're coming into the final stretch of the proposed release window. I don't think FG is obliged to tell us anything, I don't blame them for the disheartening effect of the silence, it's just a fact that I and others here crave more info which apparently ain't coming.

By the way mods, instead of wasting your precious time telling everyone to stop asking for status updates why not go do "hobby stuff" instead? Heart
Here is an idea... if its so hard to wait for an game to come out, why not just make an CS out of it? I mean some of you people has to be good with making models and maps and so on, just redesign the lantern and create oswald's mansion thats all!

Couldn't disagree more. If you had actually read what I said, I specifically noted, "WE DO NOT WANT A RELEASE DATE. ALL WE WANT IS JUST A LITTLE COMMUNICATION ABOUT HOW THE GAME IS COMING ALONG."

It would take less than 5 minutes to throw out a quick tweet with what they up to concerning the game.

Consider other games, such as Shadow of the Eternals which is now on kickstarter. They've released tons of interviews and news on the game. They're even doing regular, hour-long podcasts explaining how progress is coming along.

Is it really so unreasonable to ask for just a little information about what the devs are doing on this game?

I never said I had a problem with Thomas writing articles on other games. On the contrary, I think it's really intriguing to see what he has to think about them. The problem I have is that he seems to have no problem playing through these games and writing lengthy articles on their narrative, but apparently can't spare 5 minutes to let the people putting food on his plate what he's up to.

Thank fuck for that, I was afraid I might go insane with my lack of calmness.
