It would be silly to remove that feature considering that game is built upon the previous one in the series which still allows to do custom stories and in a sense is better value by that way.

Okay think about this guys.

We wanted penumbra in our custom stories, so we converted them over.
We wanted special things in our custom stories, so we made Full Conversion's

If we want entities and static objects from AAMFP we will convert them! If we want some special feature that the 2.5 HPL engine offers, We will find a workaround with script!

We are the frictional games community and we don't need no easy way out!!

Although it would be nice....

I highly doubt AAMFP's new assets will work in HPL2 because they were made in 3DS MAX, HPL2 doesn't like 3DS MAX so TCR got an edited version called HPL2.5 so 3DS MAX could work with it. I had plans to make something quite amazing with HPL2.5 because I use MAX and of course they won't release it... Great. -_-

I'd bet FG/TCR didn't take this into account.

I wonder if this means he changed his mind and re-added the part he had previously removed for going "too far". Hope so! No such thing as "too far", baby! Unless you're fisting someone with a poor immune system and you have an infected elbow.

Of course! The baby inside could catch a cold.

That goatse se something in to motionHuh
Well it was not on midnight my time is mast up and can't fix it on this thing so what ever and I hope that I can get a chance to finish The Beginning of Random Horror.
Seriously? I hope to god you have some serious dynamic setups through this game. AADD is not a game you can really play more than once and still experience it. Whoever had made this decision/hasn't though of a way to make it possible should be sat in a corner. This dropped off of my very small buy list immediately. No thanks. I'll get it on a $2 steam sale down the road. Sorry.

Haven't been on here in weeks, and I am probably one of the few Amnesia players out there who's not downloaded or played a single Custom Story, and don't care if it's available for this game or not.

Also, awesome tweet from Dan, Summer just started where I am and I can't wait to be scared! I don't want to wait until Halloween.
What exactly is wrong with the development tools for TDD? And do you seriously not care about the story or gameplay or anything aside from the modding capabilities?
Regardless, CS's were a massive part of the game and it kept Amnesia alive for a long time and played a big role in its success.

This, Bridge. I'll buy it on a steam sale when it's crazy cheap. Horror games aren't something you can play more than once and still have fun. You know where EVERYTHING is coming from. Plus with the custom campaigns playing such a big role in TDD you'd think they would've though this through. I'm not buying a mod. Sorry. I've seen the trailers, the game uses LOTS of the same entites and textures. Most of the game came straight from TDD. Now I just feel like they're advertising a custom campaign created by a more experienced team. I hope and pray they release it at a later date, until then, I won't be buying. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

And I ask again, do you care nothing about the story or gameplay or anything aside from modding capabilities (adding now replay value)?

EDIT: Because I have, for all intents and purposes, only played Amnesia once and I haven't played a single custom story. I don't regret buying it at full price (which is quite modest to begin with) for a second.

I never played a custom story, too. Never really wanted to see some naked corpses jumping out of cupboards. So I don't care about CS support, I just want a epic, disturbing, dark story, which I am sure we will get.
