I was thinking about this, and I am pretty sure there is. He is hinting that the AI is quite intelligent or lurky. If not intelligent and hiding, perhaps it will patrol bigger routes more often, and stick around silently instead of vanishing. Even if scripted, I believe this still may feel randomized. ^^

It did start at 7 PM UTC, but we're on Daylight Saving Time so it's UTC+1 until October...

This discussion began at 8 (UTC+2) for me so logically it was 6 UTC, and it was stated it would begin at "7.00pm GREENWICH MEAN TIME" ie. GMT ≃ UTC. Am I missing anything?

this, you're worse than me! There's a fine line between showing appreciation and ass kissing.

Also, the walking simulator thing made no sense. Why exactly is it a walking simulator ? If you have this mindset than Amnesia just might not be the game for you.
