I guess it's a little past ripe for this, but what the heck.

Have a goal or something that you wanted to do but just couldn't get off Cracked long enough?

Well, here's an excuse to finally do it.

Goals: Do something awesome by the end of the year, whether it's a skill to learn, a place to visit, an achievement, whatever, post progress here.

Me: Finally going to try to work past my attention span and actually get through this java book that I have been putting off for a year or so. Should have a working game engine made from scratch by the end. It has fewer pages than the Bible so I might just pull it off!

I also want to try to get past my depression and turn myself into something useful.
This makes me think: "Why would I do something I never did because I posted it in a thread?"

But why not?

I'd like to finish my course of programming, just to get a better understanding of how computers work, how to write your own websites, etc.

Self-imposed Peer pressure, and support.

Really good HTML/css lessons.
My goal is to by the end of the year have a Parrot AR Drone from my local EB Games shop.
The price is $349 and I am getting income of around $20 per week, so, just gotta keep working and saving up Big Grin
(Unless I spend a little on AAMFP) Smile
My desired annual achievement is to bring up my GPA. I slacked off a TON my first year. If I go any farther I'm going to reach the point of no return.
Actually start having a social life again.

Been super bummed out lately just sitting at home doing nothing but messing around on random websites and occasionally mapping and actually getting out tends to help a lot.

Funny this thread was made today cause I actually started thinking about this like 4 or 5 days ago and actually decided to go to a movie with a few friends today, it was fun
Pumped out 500 lines of code. Mostly statistic gathering at this point, but that felt good.
reach atleast 10 airchair hops. I can do 4 now without collapsing and falling down like a sack of potatoes.

it's what this guy does

My goals this year is to start learning c++, lose a little weight(Like 10 lbs or something) and to save up for a new pc Smile
My goal this year (this summer) Is to make my first stand alone sci fi/ survival horror/adventure game and attempt to commercialize it.
