I need some help with Penumbra Overture.
I'm kinda stuck at the cave level, in the generator room.

I know what to do but everytime i try to climd the ladder in the large whole i fall off. I have no problem decending it, But when i have the battery and climb back i fall of at the top.

i think this is a bug in the game and fortunately don't know how to deal with it. As i sayd before, i'm stuck in the game now and i haven't played it for weeks just because i don't know how to continue.

If anyone knows a sollution, even if this means an savedgame, i'd be thankfull.

did you break all of the fence surrounding the ladder?

I think the latest patch fix this bug. I'm not completely sure but I read it somewhere.

But still i can't seem to reach the top.

thanks for your help but i think i can go on now...

A friend helped me, and somhow he succeeded to climd up the ladder and succesfully jump to the upper floor.

I think i just have to accept and deal with this bug without screwing around with patches or whatever.

Installing updates is a much easier way to get around bugs than to try avoid them. With the installed update, you can freely climb up that ladder without falling off.

Installing patches is not "screwing around". You download the patch, go through installation with about...5 clicks with the mouse and you are good to go, the bug is fixed! (Along with other bugs of course)

Just wanted to help you, that's all. But if you want the buggy version..You must have your reasons.
