I downloaded the game about a month ago and everything has been fine. Custom story downloads went great. But i recently tried to download a custom main menu background and it made my main menu a black background and the mouse lags. And when i go to the settings or other sub-menus, they overlap on the screen.
I have gone back and deleted the downloaded custom menu but it is still the same. What do I do?
EDIT: I am able to click on things and even play the game. The game works just fine and all the in-game menus are okay. Its just the main menu.
Where did you get the game? And give me the .map file for the map background.
Delete your cached menu if there is one, and make sure you have a PlayerStart script called CameraPos and the Z-axis (blue line) is facing towards your scene (not the large arrow you use to move the Player Start around, but the smaller, blue arrows which you move by rotating)

If you mean the map_cache it should be in the same folder as you dropped the new main menu map.
redist/main_menu
I just tried and its still the same
locate your menu_bg.map and replace it with
this random one.
menu_bg.map is in /redist/main_menu/main
And whatever you have in that folder, put it inside a zip.
Leave only the file i gave you (menu_bg.map).

didnt work :/.
And i just figured out that it is only for the original game. Not any of the full conversion mods.
What custom main menu did you download?
