I'm gonna play this, but please use the GODDAMN SPOILERS.
^^

Okay?
JESUS that game is scary, it made me really paranoia...
Spoiler below!
the monster's like SCP-173, but 100 times scarier!

However, I hate those floating direction arrows and hints which you can't disable.
Puuuh... thanks for Kraven Manor. Never heard of it before. Really creepy game.
A friend linked it to me yesterday and now it is here well that is just irony.
Should've played it right away but was busy preparing for my final exams.
Maybe as addition:
Have you played DreadOut? It's a 3rd person game, but a really good one so far (just a short demo is available). Your only weapon is your smartphone. Wink
I'm happy, that they reached their indiegogo goal a few days ago.

I've played point 'n click games with more logical puzzles than Anna.

I played it, imho it sucks. It's only my opinion.

You make it sound like Amnesia had a ton of logic puzzles. Amnesia had very few "puzzles", if they can be called that and none of them were the least bit challenging. Plus I don't ever recall logic puzzles being necessary for a good game.

Anna isn't perfect by any means. It misses almost as much as it hits, but when it hits it's really good.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Anna. The game looked good and had IMO great sounddesign. But still, at least the puzzles in Amnesia made some sense and were based on some common sense or weren't too hard to figure out if there were no logic to them. The puzzles in Anna were just pure illogical, senseless itemcombinations which only served to frustrate the player and ruin everything even remotely related to pacing. I'm not saying that logical puzzles are necessary for a good game, that is not true. But haven't we moved away from the old "use everything in your inventory with everything in your inventory and use everything on everything with a nametag"? Beacuse seriously,

put branches in holes in the wall and burn them? Pour sawdust on the water? Stab a picture? Put leafs all over the walls? Start the game by making an eye-shaped mirror and a cone?
The puzzles in Anna were bad, really bad.
