Hey, So i've created a 3 pulley system like the one in the distillery to lift the top of a chest. I have my 3 rope and pos nodes divided between the pulleys and the lid of the chest, and what i believe is all the right parameters in the rope node options. The rope nodes are connected to each posNode as well as each pulley and the lid of the chest as end bodies, yet whenever i start my game the ropes disconnect and just dangle. i dont know what more to do can anyone assist?
You have to create a Rope Area and it's perspective Pos Node to each pulley.
Give me the .map file and I will fix it for ya'. I'm more or less good with ropes, and I'll probabily be able to fix it.
i do have my two nodes for each pully, and i cnt dolan, sayz tht file typ iz not allod

Make a .zip of the .map and upload it somewhere (I personally use Mediafire)
There, rope is located in the room with the suit of armor and chest on the table
It's not necessary to have an EndBody. To (maybe) fix it, delete all the EndBody in all your rope areas, except the last RopeArea that connects with the chest.

EndBody is used to have something (like the piece of meat in main Amnesia) attached to the rope.
Nope wasn't the issue... Ive also tried setting the cranks state to max so i could possibly weave the longer rope through the pulleys wheel mechanism but still no luck, is there something i could attach the end of each rope to? Or perhaps keep the rope afloat using an constant impulse area

Now that I think so: Ropes need a script to work: Do you have one? This thread may help you:

Yes ive read it, I do have the InteractConnectPropWithRope with my crank, thats why i thought increasing its stuck state and have the player pull the rope backwards would work, but it didn't and they still fell lol
