Ohhhh, Routine again. I'm honestly having a tough time deciding between this or SOMA... But I may go for this because it's something new and if it's influenced by The Thing, This game may be just for me. Need more info on this!

Why not both?

Personally, I know more of Routine (at the moment) and it panders to my love of sci fi in a way Soma might not (open ended explorable moon base? Fuck yeah!) but still...I'd get both lol.
Another interesting interview with Aaron, where he also mention FG's new sci-fi game.

Extract:
GB: I was going to say: you guys have to be at least a little bit nervous.
Foster:
I guess so, but if you look back at our expectations of only having
6,000 views and that would be enough…[laughs] We’re okay with that.
We’re okay. It’s hard to compete with Frictional. This is their sixth
game, is it? Their sixth horror game?
GB: They’re pretty deep on iterative process on that genre, for sure.
Foster:
Yeah. I don’t see it as a competitive thing, more...it inspires it.
It’s really exciting to see a new sci-fi horror game. There aren’t many
of them out there, and I would love to play another one. Sure, it’s
going to compete, and destroy us in some way, but I’ll really enjoy
playing it. [laughs] What did you think of Outlastand Amnesia? Did you play ‘em both at a similar time?
Wow, that was a lot of references to amnesia. I guess it can't be avoided, every horror game for a long time is going to be compared to amnesia. hopefully some of these new games (routine, soma) can show us some new ways to scare people!
Ever since I first played Doom 3 I've loved the future as a horror concept, so this and SOMA pique my interest much more than Amnesia. (Which mainly got my interest because I'd first been introduced to its gameplay via the modern-day Penumbra.)
