Hi!

I was wondering how one would go about darkening the texture for the mansionbase default_02 wall (The wooden one not the white one)? I don't want to override the default one I want to be able to use both the default version and the darkened version for my custom story.

What I did (and it doesn't work and I didn't really expected it to either) was to copy the default wall folder, opened up the texture in gimp and darkened it.

Can someone explain in steps how to do this with the mansionbase wall?
Copy all the mansion base files and create place them in another folder. (Just so you won't mess up the original files) Open up the .dds file and edit whatever you want. (Darken, add textures, w/e)

I've tried that and nothing changes Sad. There must be more to do than that? like changing a line of code in one of the dae files or something?
Thanks for the help! The video really explained what was needed to do this Smile
