Hi!

I dont know if this subject belongs in this section of the forum, but out of curiousity I wondered how high the salary is for let's say Thomas or Jens. I know they're a small team and the profit from Amnesia was around 236milion swedish kr.

Would be fun to know this as I've been thinking in becomming more engaged in game development.

Anyways, thanks in prehand Smile
I doubt they are comfortable divulging information about income.
Moved to off-topic.

Just search somewhere how many sales they do from Steam alone (roughly), then multiply that once or twice and then split it with about 10 and you'll get rough calculation.
Alright.

I remember this being brought up before, but why exactly do you get paid to go to school?

OK, for those Americans, College = School for 16-19 year olds and University comes later.

For public school, 4-16, school is free. However once you leave school and start College if you are not going full time you have to pay. And because at 16 you can legally get a part time/full time whatever job here you have to pay taxes and stuff. So because going to College full time can get in the way of people working, which can be a problem because everyone needs money to live, people who have really low house in-come like myself we get help from the Welsh Government. English Gov used to do it a few years ago before stopping it (haha suckers).

It's pretty much to help us with living because for us who earn very little we can't afford a lot of things like other people can. There are other things to it like I need to attend 100% in order to receive the money otherwise they don't give it to me etc.

I think once I get to University, the methods of helping are more similar around the world as a whole. As I mentioned, this kinda only happens in Wales now lucky for me.
A bit of track but I do kind of ger paid for studying, but it's supposed to serve as a supportive role for the student so that he/she can afford public transportation aswell as material for school.

Students of my age gets around: 50-60usd/week.
