you did use an actual texture right, and not just assigned different colored materials to different parts right?

What do you mean,
This things has diffrent parts the gun the body etc.
And i make lambert for these pieces.
That's not a texture mate, that's applying a material, look up UV mapping tutorials, you have to learn that.
Textures are image files loaded onto your model.
