Haven't seen eraserhead, gotta check it out. But based on all the other Lynch stuff I would describe his work like this: "You feel constantly anxious, but you can't say exactly why."

Back to the monster.

I think everything TCR and FG have published so far (poems, pics, descriptions) is very deliberate. I'd assume the PDP video is no different. Everyone expected to see a pig monster -> we saw a pig monster. There must some something else to this story.

Eraserhead is definately a must see, even if you Don`t like Lynch. Part of Movie history I`d say. And also a movie that not only makes you anxious but feel downright ill.

A double recommendation - I guess it's a "must see" then
