Don't be too hangup on requierments. Technically the game works on much lower hardware (pretty much same as Amnesia) and probably on Windows XP. But officially we do not support older hardware and software because we don't want you to get the impression a game will work smooth and trouble free when it is likely to run slow, or OK but with very low settings.

Minimum requierments are so often = the game will run, but at 1 fps.

We don't want to support that type of thinking. Sorry!

Yes and I agree. This is even more important especially when we are talking about an OpenGL game. I said it somewhere else: if it still supports OpenGL 2.1 then whatever worked for Amnesia should work for the pigs with the exception of some Amnesia borderline gpus like the nvidia 6000 series etc...

What you are saying will make technical support requests fewer, so yes I agree completely with this type of thinking.
Simply, is GeForce 2x0 (the recommended one) superior to GeForce GT 630M?
Thank you Smile
IIRC:

First digit: chipset version (the higher the more recent)
Second digit: GFX performance (the higher the better)

So no it isn't.
Hmm... that quite answered my questions, I was curious on what was going to happen with people with not really modern software Smile

PD: I don't use XP, but I considered it a point to have in mind Wink
Thank you so much.
These are two different things. You have a mobile graphics chip. Geforce 2x0 is old and before 4x0,5x0,6x0. Now we are at 7x0 series graphics cards. You should be able to play the game but don't expect high details or anything similar.

It is almost the same as my 540M which is the previous generation equivalent and it could run Amnesia just fine even at higher details. Your gpu supports OpenGL 4.0, you won't have any issues.
Specs:
OS: Windows 8 x64
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT650M and a IntelĀ® Core i5.
DirectX 11
8GB RAM

P.S. This is all on a Dell Inspiron 17R Laptop, will this run AAMFP?
Yes, you should have no problems at all.

Anyone else, keep asking and I'll reply. Bare in mind that I have not tested the game, these are based on the hardware specs given by Jens (which already are higher than minimum to prevent low fps etc...).

Thank you.
Anyway, I played TDD with max settings, and even being a laptop, it has 8 of RAM and a i5... so I think it will be good xD
