we woulndt have the tools to edit the maps, i already wondered this myself.
I dont think there are so much changes in how the maps work due to its a modified version (2.5) of the HPL engine used in TDD (2.0) ... so there could be a chance to use the same tools ... so i did this with wolfenstein 2009 where i used the ETQW editor ...

Just out of interest, are most people ordering from Steam? I've gone for the Humble Store as more money goes to Frictional / TCR when ordering that way - you also get a 'free' Steam key with that purchase.

Technically, you should still be able to use the tools available to us now to edit and create maps. However, unless the same command line arguments are still present, it would be difficult to create full conversions.
