Dude, how in the world would a virus alter someone so much?
well they are strong but i would beat them anyway, but them probably die

It's an intelligent alien virus, I guess.
Even our "local" dumb virus types are able to alter human DNA. A common flu can often be diagnosed by DNA analysis generations after it was cured.

I don't know how exactly the Tuurngait virus manages to alter the humans that quickly, but if something is capable of such extensive physical changes (the weird umbilical cord thing for example) I wouldn't be surprised if reinforcing the subject's ski is the first thing it does.
Hmm... We don't know how fast it made them in to zombies, and i don't get its intentions with the weird umbilical cord. I seem to recall that it also created telepathy and a "voice inside head", now THAT is even more ridiculous than my dragon venom story!

And, would philip become a zombie?
And how did he get the virus anyways?
probAbly contracted it from that body early on in the game when he handled the blood, or maybe reds potty wasn't that great afterall.
lol @ tommy gun
he got it after he killed red of cource! Clanence said himself that he used to have Red infected, but then you killed red, the the 'virus' had to find a new host. Which was Philip.
Didn't Philip say he felt weird when he encountered the blueish cloud in the excavation site?
Hmm, you may be on to something with the blue haze! But i thought the virus was released from the tomb. Speaking of which, we never got to see the tomb for real, just that picture... And what exactly was in the tomb anyways?

And on clarence saying he infected red before, couldn't he mean the general virus infected red, u know, about what he said about there only being "one mind", so clarence may have meant when he said "there was another one, red" he meant "we infected red before", because for that virus "I" means "WE" since it is one? Did i confuse you?
